@Grmadness - thx for that guide, I will read it thoroughly as soon as I can.
Also I'm a bit confused about the "RAM divider", what is it / where is it / what does it do? My MoBo only has the option of changing the memory clock so far as I'm aware.

as of now I am very pleased with the results, I've just finished a Prime95 stresstest of several hours.
I got the most out of the FSB without tempering with the multiplier. 3660Ghz is a pretty sweet result biggrin.gif

I'm still hesitant about lowering the multiplier and raising the FSB even further as I don't fully understand it's benefits + the opinions on this matter seem divided.

The divider is the RAM clock. Multiply this with the FSB,and you get your RAM speed.
