I think its more, they want real people doing real things with it, plus they are giving you the chance to play with tech most other people are only reading about, because it is not finished.
Actually they have already. I remember the way they first looked when initially announced on Google+. These are much better. I think if they can slim them down again and maybe cut down on some of the angles, they will look much better.
I wonder if they will have facial recognition built into the camera. I mean, could you use that to make a novelty app to verify "power levels"?
Also, think about Glass paired with Google Goggles. The thought of having so much information at your fingertips is pretty sweet.
I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of these though. I have so many ideas on what to use them for!
