I was wondering if there was any software for windows that reports what kind of state your hardrives are in.

For example, active or sleeping.

I have 5 drives running in my system at the moment, I have windows 7 search disabled and I'm wanting to save as much power as possible.

My power settings are
"turn off hard disk after" -> 20 minutes.
