Warning: stay away from Aquatunning

Hello.

I am creating this thread to warn people so they won't waste their money like i did.

I ordered water cooling parts from Aquatunning a while ago and god i haven't seen such a retarded customer support before. For 2 weeks i am trying to solve my issues with them and there is no luck.

Right after i made my purchase i realized there was a little mistake on my list and shipping option (picked most expensive one accidentally)

So i sent them message from their site and also a direct email a few minutes after my purchase. I kept sending them more messages in the next days but i had no reply. It was friday when i bought it and i got reply Tuesday.

They shipped them monday, what an amazing system there. I even tried to cancel my purchase but there was no option for that on their site.

I tried to get help from them and i tried every single way but no luck.

In the end i had to pay extra money for shipping services to cargo company due to rules we have in my country. We could avoid it if they replied but they didn't.

I told them i am not happy with these parts so take them back and give me the right ones. (Gpu block and fittings + cheap shipping option which is 60 euro cheaper than the other one and with that extra money i planned to get 1 more radiator.)

Order history

01.02.2013
01.02.2013 In WW importiert
04.02.2013 prepayment complete
04.02.2013 packing
04.02.2013 Versendet

They even lied to me and said SORRY YOUR ORDERS WAS SHIPPED FRIDAY. Not true! They shipped them Monday. Bad support + Lies. What a good combination for a company. I told them to cancel it completely or take them back from cargo company and send me proper ones while you can. After that they didnt reply to me for 2 days. They waited in purpose so my orders came to my country and i had to pick them up.

They didn't help me with anything also they were using caps in mails and telling me it is my fault and their company got nothing to do with it. If i want to ship them back i have to pay for that and when they ship new ones i will pay again. Amazing isnt it ?

So i spent something close to 1000 euro and i feel like it is wasted. They offered me %10 discount for my next purchase on their last email. They told me to sell the ones i wanted to switch and order new ones from their site + pay for shipping again and taxes smile.gif

Best customer support in the world.

Do yourself a favor if you are in europe do not use this stupid company and buy things from Sidewinder and Frozencpu.

Thanks.

I think specialtech.co.uk ship to the EU and I've had nothing but excellent service from them.

Steer clear of watercoolinguk as well, a few years ago I bought something from them and it took 3 months to arrive.

Yep stick away for Watercooling UK, They said everything was in stock, but half of it wasn't. But specialtech are excellent, no complaints and very good support.

Sadly, Aquatuning is one of the few European stores I know of that sells a lot of different water cooling items which, to my knowledge, other stores don’t have. Whether their customer support is good or not remains to be seen but from what I have heard they aren’t too bad.

The shipping cost is way too big in order for it to be profitable. = /

I've also heard that their customer service is kind of slow, but i haven't had any problems with them. My order came knocking on my door in just 4 days, which is pretty darn quick considering they sent it out from Germany. Would order again.

It is not 2000 anymore. It is 2013. If you have an online store it must use a good system, it must have a good website dont you agree ?

If i cant get an answer less than 4 days... If i cant cancel my purchase... If i cant make any changes right after i bought something then something is wrong. I wasnt expecting such a terrible system and customer support. If i knew that i wouldnt order anything from them.

They also put everything in a very thin box and sent me like that. There was no protection stuff (i dont know their names sorry) around them, nothing. I was lucky with that at least so it didn't get any damage but their packaging is also terrible.

Many places considering "shipping" when parts get pulled and put into boxes, way before it ever gets on a carrier's truck. Even at Newegg, once it start's processing (parts picking) you can't cancel it online.

But you can get support and fix it quickly. Do you realize they didnt reply for 4 days then they didnt pull it from ups. After that they sent me a reply and then they stopped replying for 2 days. Right after i picked them up i started to get replies in less than 1 hour.

If you are not blind you can see whats going on there.

If I screw up an order and it ships to me as I described in my order, that is MY problem. I could try to fix MY error, but I sure wouldn't be blaming anyone else but myself if it doesn't work out in my favor. That is how I see it and my opinion no matter who the vendor or person is. My 2c
