AeroCool Easywatch = bad + return....... give me a fan controller! - Page 2

If you want to take advantage of PWM control from your motherboard, the Sunbeam Rheosmart is a good low cost and effective option. You can switch from PWM control using your motherboard to thermally regulate or regular voltage manual control.

I have the 3 channel version and the PWM works well for smaller 10W or less loads. I had an old Sunbeam rheobus that I've had for years and it still works perfectly, can't say that for other brands that quickly burn out channels because they have crappy heatsinks or non at all.

If your motherboard software sucks like my ASRock does, you can use Speedfan to do some really advanced auto speed control.

Why manually control fan speeds when you have a computer that can do it for you..smile.gif

The little buttons up front switch from PWM control to manual control using the knobs.

It may not be the nicest looking fan controller out there and the little knobs are a bit cheapish, but it works really well and has pretty good sized heatsinks to dissipate heat.

the problem is the sys fans on my motherboard arent all the same voltage which is resulting in different fan speeds

i mean, i just dont want a complicated system meaning, annoying led systems that require many many clicks, or actually installing a prgoram that needs to run (extra icons in my task bar tongue.gif )

figured a knob would be easy for me, twist from 25-50-75 easily frown.gif

i tried speedfan with my mobo and i guess im missing something because it wouldnt work biggrin.gif~
