Good reliable SSD with SATA II Deal?? please help. Also computer took a leap down the stairs.

I am looking to buy my first SSD, and was wondering if any of you have seen a good deal on one.
Or if some are know to be better than others.
Looking more for a budget one but can throw in another $20 for a more reliable one.

Also i am rebuilding my computer as when I was moving, a guy we hired to help us dropped the computer from the top of the stairs. It was in a box with two pillows next to it, but not very well packaged. Well the case broke and some of the cpu cooler mount clips also broke.
Was wondering if anybody has gone thru this and how did u go about fixing it. just yesterday I took apart all the components and ordered a case from newegg.
What else do u think might have broken?

What size drive are you thinking? 64gb drives are cheap and will be great for your operating system and maybe one or two games. Larger drives are more expensive of course.

I was thinking low size more for just the operating system. 64gb would do fine im guessing?

64 is fine for an Operating system and a program or two perhaps. Formatted capacity is 60GB and Windows will use 15-20GB so you're left with 40 GB free for stuff.

To quote (modified) a famous man:

64gb ought to be enough for anybody.

Log into Newegg and sign up for all of their promotional emails. I get at least 2 emails daily with sale items. Just check them daily and watch for a 64gb drive to come up. Most of the really good deals sell out fast, but they come pretty often so its not hard to find them. I don't see any good deals on SSDs in today's mail though.
