His stepping is LCBIE, not LDBFE. Congrats on a good stepping

What a pleasant surprise, last night I typed this up and noone commented. Woke up this morning and here it is. lol.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm still fiddling with this thing. I have it up to 2700Mhz but I don't think I have the settings where they should be. This is how I have it set up for now(until I get more info on how to calculate HTT in accordance to fsb ratio etc.)

This is what my settings are right now. 270fsb, 1:1 or 100mhz, HTT is set to 600mhz(I'm going to try 800HTT as I just checked cpuZ and my HTLink is set to 811mhz.

Can I set it up differently. It feels more laggy than it did at lower clocks. I'm guessing my HTT is not quite perfect. I'll read up a little more on HTT in relation to fsb clocks and get back to you guys.

BTW, this is all at stock voltages. lol.

forgot some of my system specs:

Asus a8v
x2 3800
2 gigs of infineon pc3200
500w true power psu
x800xl aiw

I'm currently at 275/4:3(266mhz)/800HTT. My actualy fsb according to CPUz is 184.

Quick question guys. My HT link is running at 1100mhz. and the divider is set to 800. Is this ok? seems to be so far.

memory bandiwdth test is netting a score of 4107/4085.

Might lower your HT to like 600 Mhz. Only the ATI chipsets can take like a 1300Mhz HT.

I'm still a bit confused about HTT and what I should have it set to in relation to fsb and multi.

I doubt your overclock to 2700mhz is stable, run 2 instances of prime95 (one dedicated to each core) If these both fail to run for 8hrs or so you need to up your cpu voltage. Just because it works in windows doesn't mean its good. Good luck!

You can adjust your HTT to manipulate your RAM speeds. Move it one setting each way and check out cpu-z to see what effects it had on the RAM.

Also, please fill in your system specs under the User CP tab! It would make helping you get your settings right much easier if we knew what board you were using.

Thanks for the info on the CP.

It seems pretty stable. I haven't primed it yet but I have ran SuperPi and a bunch of other benchmarks, gaming, burning dvd's.

Here are a few benchies:
sisoft memory bandwidth 6972/6253
multimedia 51171/55725
processor 19737/16698

Hey man, just letting you know that you can fill in your system specs by going to "User CP" and "Edit system specs" to have them like ours and save sig space
