Best pump for Titan Build - Page 2

1. You don't have enough radiator. The whole purpose of water cooling is to provide _more_ fin surface area than you get with air cooling, and to gain the ability of cooling at a different location. That means you need to at least match the amount of fin surface area of 4 titan air-cooling HSFs plus a standard CPU HSF. Otherwise, you're likely to get better temps just using air-cooling.

2. I'd recommend you run the Titan blocks in 2x2 series/parallel. That gives you the pressure drop equivalent to a single block and provides 50% flow to both pairs. A single D5 would be no problem like this.

3. I'd recommend using a dual D5 at lower settings instead of a single D5. Having four Titans is a _lot_ of money and you don't want to screw around with a $70 pump death causing all four to burn out, leaving $4000 damage. Get the second pump for redundancy.

If you need a large case now for cooling all that, get a Mountain Mods, Little Devil, or Caselabs case. None of them are cheap, but they are the guys to go to for big water cooling.
