Spilled drink over keyboard. This time: Milk!

Excellent...

Last time I had a thread here
http://www.overclock.net/t/1269322/spilled-sprite-into-my-mechanical-keyboard

And this time something much more deadly. Looks like everything is okay after drying it out 2 days or so, except my A key was initially unresponsive. However, I'm typing with my keyboard now and it seems to be working fine, the A key seems to be improving as I press it more. Only a few times in this post did I have to go back and hit A again... Are there any recommendations you guys have for things I should

1. Keep an eye out for now that I'm back up and running?
2. Any possible things that a user can do to accelerate a keyboard's return to normal operation after having a spill?

I'm going to kind of mechanically stress the A key and hopefully everything will return to normal. My das is still relatively unassembled right now so I can access the circuit board or anything if you guys recommend some cleaning of sorts.

Thanks!

THANKS EVERYONE REPS ALL AROUND buttkick.gif

that's basically what happened. HAHA

I'm thinking along the lines of using a keycap puller and taking a look at the switch...

I eat and drink behind the PC all the time. There is always the possibility of accidentally knocking something over. My solution is simple, I put my glass/cup far away from any electronics and my keyboard. Usually to the far left. Even if I were to knock it over, it would not damage anything.

Seems like the obvious thing to do. Either that or previous suggestion.
