Check out the table and the paragraph beneath it.

The Buffs are staying in my shopping cart.

It appears that the CAS4 Firestix are D9GKX which is a little better than the GMH.. (the GMH can still hit over 1000mhz)

Credit to Monisriz for finding these links!

Wrong, the CAS5 sticks have been a mystery lately, look around for all the posts about them.

They run the same voltage/timings and they are also the same part number minus the 1gb/2gb differences at the end of the number. I think its safe to say they are made of the same stuff.

sounds like a good deal, but hows the warranty on this brand?

I think everyone knew they were, They went from D9GKX to GHM. the D9GKX are the D2B sets, while the GHM are the D2C sets.

It seemed like it was a mystery to me... Or the people that did know didn't shed any light on the situation..

All that I know is that many people were not sure one way or the other..

Interesting..........now can you try and see if your Firestix could run at 1000mhz with 4-4-4-8 @ 2.30v? Pretty much all D9s can handle that.

Now that I see they have D9s, let's see if they're from the same breed of D9s that can hit 1000mhz easy.

Here:

__________

On CPU-Z, under the tab SPD, do you also see "Melco" as the RAM's manufacturer?

And why he says this:

Doesn't he know that he is testing DDR2 800 CL 5 @ 2.1v?

If they're doing CL3 at 800mhz then I'd say there is a good chance that they can do 1000mhz at CL4

The CPU-Z is misreading Buffalo for Melco? That's my guess

DDR-667 at 1.8v with CL5 is what Micron rates their D9GMH chips at, which is why they said that
