How to solve idle BSODs with C3/C6 enabled and using Offset

As the title says, how do I do solve this? With Offset, I know most people suggest to turn of C3 and C6 but I want those power saving features as they have their real benefits as discussed in another thread.

??? Dude. You've been posting for a long time saying you can do this or have I just been assuming this? This has been one of your ongoing questions about why not use offset if you can keep C3/C6 (in that said thread).

With the amount of questions, I don't actually know your setup anymore lol but first I'd stop using additional turbo voltage. Then I'd lower LLC to force myself to raise the offset which in turn raises idle voltages.

If that doesn't work, then you're in the same SOL boat as myself (and assume many others). It's not like there's many options to play with but I'm no guru and maybe someone else can chime in incase I'm just wrong.

Oh man, you just assumed it, lol. I'm asking in that said thread what is wrong with using Offset IF one could stabilize his system with c3 and c6 enabled. I never said anything about me getting stable with them enabled because I haven't tried to do so yet.

Yeah, thannks. I understand what you just suggested. Problem with lower LLCs is that at higher loads (IBT) the vdroop is more compared to lower loads (Prime95). My target of being stable is to pass IBT and P95. So going with lower LLCs will force my P95 voltage to be somewhat higher than that of what I had stable in higher LLCs.

Set a higher offset voltage? I'm pretty sure all my C-states are enabled and I've never had any stability issues.

I have not had any BSODs with all my power states enabled and offset used (4.4GHz OC). Having said that, my PC was in storage for a few months, so I haven't put in that many hours. I noticed with my board that when I used LLC, it oesd some strange things to my vcore. I seem more stability when I don't use the LLC option (let the board vdroop as needed). I've also flashed the latest Intel management Engine firmware to my ASUS board (ASUS X79 is still using version 7 when 8 is now out).

Have you tried enabling C6 though? What LLC do you use?

It messes with my vcore readings, and throws off CPU-Z and Realtemp's readings, while the AI Suite reads it correctly, or vice versa. And with LLC enabled, my default vcore (no OCing), even with the slightest 0.05v increase, jumps to 1.40v. I have to run - 0.20v in offset just to keep it in the 1.35v range. But if I don't use the LLC function, my voltages are fine, and read fine.
