Bad move, Intel.
In my view, good move intel, on their part people will look on buying better processors like the e6600...

I think you would say that a little differently if you didn't already have yours.

Somehow I have a feeling it will overclock exactly the same.

And BTW, just a general note. When you speculate make sure you make it clear that it's just your "guess" and don't word it like it's true. This is exactly how the "OMG 10000000KW for 8800GTX SLI OMG***BBQSAUCEEEE!!!" rumor came about.

Well everyone's speculating on whether it's going to be less oc'able but I haven't heard anyone talk about lower temps... Possibly?

Let's just relax on the speculation for a bit and actually wait for some real results to hit the net. Speculation does nothing but raise a bunch of flags and get people all riled up that don't need to be... Everyone knows that it will either be the same, worse, or better, so let's just anxiously anticipate someone getting their hands on one and OC'ing it

This worries me... I might have to scrounge up enough cash to buy an e6300 ASAP from the egg and hope its the older revision...

Also, that link is in Chinese, and as most people know it takes a while for things to get over here... hopefully long enough for us to find out whats going on/take action (for those in the market)

lol, that chinese link is great, I found people talking about the e4300:
