Yea, amazing how they always give you detailed high res pictures of the game rendered on a PC, then actual game runs at 720, no AA and AF at 30 fps on a console, it will be the same thing as before, just with better graphics on both pre-footage and final product that doesn't look like pre-footage but still OK enough in today's societies eyes.
Look at GTA4, all pre-production pictures were high res, and oh, whats this.... high anti aliasing everywhere? must be just me, because from what I remember the game, even on PC didn't have AA implemented.

Doubling the RAM doesn't double the GPU performance, if you're texture unit, ROP, shader or memory bandwidth bound then that extra RAM won't do jack.

Right now it's just speculation on the specifics of the GPU, but in principal saying "it has all the Ramz! games will be better!" is quite false!

Not at all. What he said was entirely true. But, yeah, it's just speculation. But, he's right. The extra RAM would be useless in those situations he mentioned.

IT was for people saying "more RAM means this this and this"

Which is like saying

"This 6GB of VRAM on my GT530 is going to be great!"

Which it would be... if it had a wide enough bus to push the bandwidth... if it had the texture units to fill the graphics pipeline.. etc etc.
