Oh gotcha. When you were talking about maple I thought you were doing a flamed or burled maple veneer with ebony stripes in the middle or something.

The guy a reputed Luthier? I've been out of the electric business for some time now, classical gas changed my life tongue.gif and nothing can match that sweet sweet Taylor sound though.. biggrin.gif

Overall consistency in games. Frame dropping/latency, micro stutter, etc. - FPS does matter, but not nearly as much as everyone in this thread is absolutely convinced it does.. people seem to have not read that post.

You got that right my friend...I'm running 2 X 7970 and I got this continuous beeeeep that I can't stop it !? Did you encounter some of this AMD CF curst !??
I think I'm done with CF and save some money for 7990 and there I will settle for 3 years :-))

7990 IS Crossfire.

2x7970 is faster than one Titan. Doesn't make any sense to switch unless you're planning to go Titan SLI in the near future.
