UT60 leaking?

Thread Starter
I received my new water cooling stuff today, i installed them and sadly i realised that the Alphacool UT60 is leaking.

It does not leak at the fittings.

There is a small crack at the edges and it leaks from there, its making a weird noise too.

Any ideas?

That's a perfectly legit reason for asking return / RMA from the retailer. I would contact the retailer with pictures and stuff. They'll probably send you a new one without asking the broken one returned.

Hard to tell anything from that picture. Did you use the proper length fan mounting screws? Most of the time when a radiator leaks it is because the screws were too long and punched in to the radiator.

The UT60 comes with screw protectors so it's unlikely it got punctured by the fan screws.
I say RMA it.
And maybe if you know where the leak is, you can patch it up temporarily with silicone until the replacement comes in.
