Some menus limit your fps thats why maybe you get lower gpu usage. In Afterburner go and increase the power limit to 20% increase. Also go to settings->monitoring->Hardware monitoring properties and increase the hardware polling period to 3000.

I guessing that increasing the power limit means...increasing the voltage (?) I only got the card yesterday, I'm not prepared to mess with it just yet. :\

I'm sorry, I never saw that option up until I got this card. So I don't know what it means...yet

If with vsync off your gpu isn't 99% utilized, then there is a bottleneck somewhere, may be the cpu cores, IMC, RAM or even the network connection biggrin.gif

Is 4.3GHz the highest overclock you can achieve?

This is exactly what I am trying to explain entire time smile.gif

SO.... what we are seeing here is that regardless of CPU clockspeed you are getting roughly the same GPU usage. HENCE NO CPU BOTTLENECK (sorry caps lol)

I never said it has to be CPU..I am just trying to explain to you what Kasp1js said...gpu are meant to always work at 100% or 99% usage shown in app such as msi afterburner...if that usage is not shown, something is bottlenecking, and that can be a lot of things, not just cpu

Yes, but he has provided FPS as well, if I am not mistaken, its 53 avarage on 4.3Ghz vs 57 avarage on 3.7Ghz

Not you dont mess with the voltage.

Also change the polling period in settings of afterburner

Right, because we have very much established that there is no bottleneck here, everything is performing copacetic. Please, I am done arguing with you, its like talking to a wall.
