I cannot afford those cpu's and nor will I buy them. I guess crytek being part of the amd never settle campaign means that things like physx (if the game supports it) is being done on the cpu and eating up multiple threads.

When the 6 core IB-e is out this year I'm hoping it will be much more affordable and I'll upgrade then.

Same upgrade plan here-definately not going to upgrade prior to June just for this game! I am sure upcoming releases will continue to be dominated by 4core's until then

I was able to play this game pretty good for my 2 gen old system... Just wish there were some benchmark where we could compare...
Didn't know why Crytek didn't include it in their most graphically intense/hardware pushing game...confusedsmiley.png

i7 970 @ 4ghz and my two 580's were at 99% usage...
