I don't know Firefly at all, so I don't know what difference 4 GHz would make (big or small, I'm not sure). I think the only real risk of overclocking with this PSU might be great difficulty in getting your system to be stable. Or if you get it stable, it might not stay stable forever. I think there may also be a risk of PSU failure for heavier overclocking, and when some lower quality PSUs fail, they can kill something in your system, or sometimes your entire system.
Getting back to 4 GHz, it would only be a few hundred MHz above the turbo clock speed that Firefly may be getting your CPU up to when you try to play it. So if it's getting it up to 3.6 or 3.7 or even 3.8 GHz, then 4 GHz might not be that much of a difference.

Thanks again. I'm about to try disabling HyperThreading and see if I get any difference in the performance. I shall report back to you.
oh and if you are into gaming at all you should try this game, it's pretty damn awesome looking and fun http://www.firefallthegame.com/ got beta invites to give out

Thank you so much wise one. It still goes a bit low for first person shooter but 10-15fps more than before (depending on the zone/battle/etc) but god damn, something is something. Is there any other CPU tweak that could help me improve the performance in game besides OCing? I only use this computer for gaming and browsing so I don't mind to sacrifice other things. Thanks once again!
