The one thing that gets me far is when I call back I say to the new person "I understand it's not your fault and I'm not mad at you, but I'm very frustrated with the complete lack customer service I have been receiving up till now." Usually that person goes crazy commando for me and pulls out all the stops and gets me where I need to go.

Yeah, probably.

But then they would know who i am if they saw this, and could posible refuse me RMA's because i've overclocked the parts, etc.

Also, i've had EXCELLENT customer service from them the rest of the time.

And i think it's pretty good that they've sent me an adapter on next day delivery so i can use the card ASAP. They are also gonna chase up on getting me the other stuff back.

Meh, i cant complain really.

Anyway... I get my P5B Dlx and E6600 Tomorrow

Cant use them though, as my crappy fujitsu's OEM windows is locked to the OEm mobo;'s bios, and wont work otherwise.

Gotta wait a couple of weeks for more money, then buy two raptors and a new windows CD.

Then my rig will own.

Just a matter of more and more waiting.

Exactly what I did in my RMA nightmare with eVGA, and I ended up getting an upgraded card. People like when people are nice/willing to compramise.

+1 for being assertive and concise without being rude. I had to rma my lonely eVGA 7800gt during the 7900gt scenario. They received it on Monday, and by next Tuesday they Hadn't even sent mine back yet. I had payed for 3 day shipping so I was hoping that it would arrive by Friday. Wednesday comes and they still haven't started to ship. So I called, was assertive to the point saying you know this really isn't good costumer service, you know blah blah blah. Nice and to the point. They said they were very sorry for the delay, that they are backed up blah, blah blah. They said to make it up it would be back first thing Thursday morning. And bam, there it was, free priority overnight shipping upgrade. I know that really is off topic but, just call them and state your anger in a calm way, and who knows, you might get an upgrade.

I can't use them though till i buy a new Windows CD. And i want to buy a couple of Raptors at the same time.

So gotta wait 1~2 Weeks. It'll be worth the wait

After reading the previous 3 pages, it is not BFGs fault at all. It is whoever the retailer is that you took it back to. NEVER do that. I know this has been covered but I want to reiterate for anyone reading this thread.

When you need to RMA something you do it directly. You will get the best service you can and you can contact them yourself and let them know what you are unhappy with and what your wishes are. You will get a lot more out of your RMA experience.

In fact, there is an RMA FAQ on OCN that is there to help you get the most out of the whole experience. I'd find it for you, but the FAQ section is a mess right now...

ARGH.

Got my P5B Deluxe today, and one of the push-pins on the NB is snapped.

I've sent overclockers.co.uk a 'webnote'. Hopefully they can either send me a replacement push-pin (i doubt it) or they'll just get me to RMA it.

I don't seem to have much luck at the moment
