Building a Computer for my Dad - Parts Review

So my mom asked me to build my dad a computer for christmas. Appearantly his 7 year beast isnt doing the job anymore.

I dont need to build him some big badboy of a machine. He pretty much just uses the computer for MS Office stuff, and the internet. and just to look at pics from his camera. So this computer doesnt need to be an overclocking monster.

I have put together a list of parts I think are really good, even though he potentially wont use the resources to the max, but I wanted it to last a long time for him.

Parts:

Thermaltake Armor Jr. - Ordered
Ultra 550Watt X-Connect 2 PSU
Samsung 18X DVD+RW Burner w/ Lightscribe
Patriot 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM
Western Digital Caviar RE WD1600YS 160GB
MS Windows XP Home w/SP2 and Vista Coupon
Gigabyte GA-945GM-S2
Intel Pentium D 925 Presler 3.0GHz
-----------------------------------------
Total ~$730

The budget for the build is ~$700

I would prefer to keep the mobo anc CPU, but if you guys have any other solutions for the other stuff to make them better or cheaper feel free to let me know. and if somehow I could make this build a bit cheaper to add in the parts below, that would be sweet!

ATI Radeon X1300 AIW VGA
Asus Star Ice 4-in-1 Heatpipe Cooler

Thanks,
Kyle

I hope so! Its going to be a "mini me" of my rig! when I told my mom I wanted to build it (instead of going to Dell, etc..) I immediatly thought of the Armor Jr.!
