I had CF 6970s at one point, hot/loud and the microstutter in some games. Not sure how 7950s are with microstutter - but i personally wouldnt CF again as selling 2 cards to upgrade seems like it would be a hassle.

I have a 2560x1440p display so turning on MSAA is a luxury at this point since the jaggies are so small to really care.

Had 2x 6850 OCd... framerate was good, microstuttering was horrible. my brother's gts 450 looked way smoother even in battlefield 3 !!! drivers had to be tweaked a lot to render games correctly and that crippled new game releases. one of my cards died a few weeks ago. Didn't hesitate, bought a 7970 and all my problems were gone. smooth as butter and more fps than with that dual setup.
