you could just root it and get an overclocked processor, (might kill your battery though)

I highly highly recommend the Google Nexus 10. It has a phenomenal display and is super fast and gets os upgrades super fast. Seriously glad I purchased it over a iPad or any other tablet. thumb.gifthumb.gif

Yeah and then the warranty is void is something happens it and it wasn't a result of the routing or anything...

Trust me you may as well just go with the note 10.1" it would run smother even after the over locking of the tab 2.

Ipad 4 is currently the fastest tablet. Web browsing is the fastest, and screen quality is the best which would be good for movies. Contrast I think is better than the nexus 10 and color quality is definitely the best.

Battery life is extremely good on the ipad 4, and for 32 GB it looks like it is $100 more than the nexus 10. Your choice whether this is worth it.

You might have trouble first copying movies straight over to your ipad, but there are many file apps which you can use to transfer files over from your computer to your ipad. This is different from something like the nexus 10 which uses the android system, and lets you have full access to your files on your tablet through your computer.

My favorite thing about the ipad is the hand gestures. 4 finger swipe to switch through apps is the best. Android is a little more complicated.

Android has widgets other shortcut things for apps which is useful for quickly viewing RSS feeds or news updates. I don't know how useful this is over just going to a web browser, but it was a nice feature that I liked when using a friend's galaxy tab.

Oh and one maybe important thing. The iPad's keyboard is by far the best compared to other tablets. If you can learn how to type on the ipad like a regular keyboard. Like I am right now.

Actually the PPI on the iPad is 264 vs 300 with the Nexus 10, so much higher resolution there. I've also seen benchmarks with the Nexus 10 on 4.2 beating the iPad in several performance tests, but they're neck and neck for the most part.

ipad 4 is the ipad with retina display as Apple now calls it. There was the ipad 3 and then the ipad 4 with the massively improved process, graphics, and memory. And also because of that the charging issue was solved, and battery life is now as good as the ipad 2. The ipad 4 uses the A6X chip I believe which was custom made by Apple.

And the person that said nexus 10 was faster, I'll get back to you later once I get on my computer with some reviews.

All of apples phones / ipods / tablets have specially made chips by apple. you can check apples site, they show the ipad, ipad 2, then the ipad with retina display.
