All the features on Android 4.1 are in the Note 10.1. Just might have a different look since Samsung put their TouchWiz interface on it.

thnaks! is there a place to store the pen? or do i just leave it in the drawer LOL

Yeah I agree that the Nexus 10 has a far better display, however the note 10.1 has a wonderful display as well. If the Nexus 10 came with the pen, then I would have went with that instead. But the 10.1 is seriously amazing for taking notes in my classes. Far easier than typing it out on a laptop or typing it out on a tablet....'

It all comes down to what I think the OP needs.

I really hope that the rumors about the note 10.1 version 2 are true and that they are going to be using a display similar to the Nexus 10. If this happens, then I will be upgrading right away.

Battery life is extremely good on the ipad 4, and for 32 GB it looks like it is $100 more than the nexus 10. Your choice whether this is worth it.

You might have trouble first copying movies straight over to your ipad, but there are many file apps which you can use to transfer files over from your computer to your ipad. This is different from something like the nexus 10 which uses the android system, and lets you have full access to your files on your tablet through your computer.

My favorite thing about the ipad is the hand gestures. 4 finger swipe to switch through apps is the best. Android is a little more complicated.

Android has widgets other shortcut things for apps which is useful for quickly viewing RSS feeds or news updates. I don't know how useful this is over just going to a web browser, but it was a nice feature that I liked when using a friend's galaxy tab.

Oh and one maybe important thing. The iPad's keyboard is by far the best compared to other tablets. If you can learn how to type on the ipad like a regular keyboard. Like I am right now.

I can agree 100% with this because I am using it right now and I mean the keyboard on the side Is much better and you can type like you are on a computer.

Trust I didn't think that this iPad would be as good as people make it to be or my friends make it to be but I love it, and I mean I am a pc using but the again I have an iPhone 5 is pretty good but I would have liked to have seen a bit more difference in the GUI and all that, the the physical attributes. Anyway, dispite, that apple have done pretty well for them self this time.

Also, the battery life on this thing is amazing, it has lasted two days and was only on 70ish percent... That isn't 100% usage thought but I am taking it right down to about 2% so I can charge it fully like I said before, the battery life on this thing is phenomenal.. Just wish they hade the same on in the iPhone...

haha after using my ipad 2 for hours each day, I can go though the battery while web browsing on forums and stuff once or twice xD

Eh, I think simplicity is nice. I don't care much for botheri with GUI changes since I like something as long as it works. But if you want you could jailbreak it and do whatever graphical changes you want! Takes more time, but if it pleases you it is worth it i suppose smile.gif

can you give clear reasons why? The only thing I really liked about android was the widgets and shortcuts at the lock screen. Everything else doesn't seem fluid to me. And I don't want to have to look around for different apps like a different browser, mail app, and calendar app just to have a good experience. Since I know the default browser sucks, and apparently the default mail app is pretty bad too because I always see people getting a different one.

There. The iPhone 5 is faster than the nexus 10, and I'm too lazy to look for another review directly comparing the ipad 4, but we aleady know the ipad 4 is even faster than the iPhone 5.

Your seriously comparing a tiny phone to a high res 10" tablet? C'mon now.

at least for CPU performance for web browsing I doubt the resolution matters much. And anyway I know the ipad 4 outperforms the iPhone 5.

I have used ipad, ipod, iphone, andriod 10 inch, andriod 7 inch, and andriod phones since they came out. I have found that the apple keyboard work better, why? i have no clue they just work better, but for his uses i think the andriod tablet might be better.
