The GX line is very good and has no issues so I wouldn't rule it out. Other Cougar PSUs are a bit bleh though.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I gave in to my general nature of overkill and pulled the trigger on the PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk. III 1200W. ($249.99 at NCIX right now).

I know I have no need for that kind of juice, but I plan to use it through every bit of the 7-year warranty, and who knows what I'll need in the future. It's also nice that this thing will hit 600W of output, before the fan even spins up - nice for a silent system.
