i recently purchased the rx240 and got some cm blademaster fans to static pressure the hell out of the rad D:

my problem is, i leak test outside of case obviously and i didnt plan on a drain line or t lines or anything to drain

i dont know how i would install something like this

(judging from the pics i assume it replaces that threaded drain port in the bay/res ?

seems like that would be the perfect probe... i just wonder if i flip my case right side up and open that drain port to replace it smile.gif i dont have the res filled to the opening at the top but if i flip it i dont know how much water will be and the last thing i want is opening a drain port for a few ounces to leak out biggrin.gif

yes im crazy, but taking out the rad +waterblock+bay to do work is out of the question for me for now, i bought a new mobo so the fans and rad would fit, went through weeks on buying and returning cases and ultimately waiting on the kit itself ;(

will that bitspower temp sensor fit in the place where that silver threaded cap is on bottom right?

it appears to be some form of drain plug on the xspc raystorm 750, but my res is full and taking the system out would be a major issue :)id really be tilting the case hoping the water level on the back would have room for me to replace without spills

I have a different xspc bay res then you mine doesn't com with a pump bought and mounted a laing ddc 3.25. yours is the 750 bay res pump combo so i'm not sure what threads the fill port uses. On mine the fill port is not 1/4 threading so I couldn't thread a fill tube in it and there are no drain ports. That threaded cap on the bottom of your res looks like it could be 1/4 threaded in which case you could simply thread a temp sensor fitting into it. I didn't realise there was no drain port on my res when I bought it so I had to improvise and buy a bitspower y block fitting and 2 extra comp fittings so I could run tube to the fitting and tube out of the fitting and thread the temp sensor in to the other end
