[VG247] Battlefield 4 confirmed for next-gen release - Page 10

That vid sums most the things wrong with the game, Im done with the franchise.

Today if i want to play a squad based team play game i play planetside 2
If i want to play a classic competitive shooter like Q3A and unreal, I play Blacklight retribution.

Crazy how F2P games are of much better quality than full priced titles these days.

Pretty much.

These kids just don't get it and I'm not surprised they don't. After all they are the ones to blame for ruining everything in the first place.

2. If you really feel the game is like that video, you probably haven't played the game since its release. A bunch of the bugs in that video, specifically the animation bugs, were squashed a long time ago. Some of them were simply problems with lag, which every first person shooter known to man has had. There was clips of people going around people trying to blow up stuff that simply wouldn't make sense to blow up and wouldn't have been possible to blow up in BC2 either. The kill-funnel clips are always in one map and even just one spot on said map, and that's metro. Go visit any of the other 28 maps and realize that it's not even a problem. That video represents someone looking for problems with the game and in the end, the video is just a joke. Dude made it for fun and still enjoys the game. rolleyes.gif

Heh. You two really need to stop with the arrogant "these kids" BS. It shows a massive lack of maturity. I enjoy all Battlefields for what they are. Loved 1942, BF2, 2142, BC2, and BF3. I just love games and don't look at them through rose-tinted glasses or any form of bias.

And on that note, I'm done here! biggrin.gif I feel like I should leave this here, too. PC online - 42 005. Totally dying!

You cannot provide a solid argument and just resort to trolling and beta vids which show selective bad footage. I have played all of them and still maintain bf 1942 was the best, bf2 removed the ships which I did not like and people cried about for years and guess what now they hail it as the best bf, for what? throwing in some half made commander feature which was 99% a tk and useless. People now look at BC2 as a good bf game, while on the forums when it came out people were crying how bad the game was. Finding Australia hardcore servers is not reflective of the game's pop. I can find a server easily living in NA, if you want to check out the pop of the game go to the bf3 website and u can see it easily goes over 20k daily but your not going to because you are in denial.

That saved so much time and effort, we all remember how many years it took to level in BF2. WIth BF3, even if they did that...wouldn't matter. You don't need to play daily for months to get some of the higher ranks.

Back to cs:go

You are aware more people are playing bf3 right now on pc despite CSGO being cheaper and using the more popular steam? Every bf game has had paid expansions why are you making a big deal out of it now? Also grinding for years to unlock a gun is not exactly fun, bf3 can implement the same system easily by just making it a 1 million point req to level up but how would that be fun?

Hey look I can post a video too of selective game footage that shows of glitches and animation derps which have been fixed a long time ago. I guess that is totally reflective of the state of planetside 2!

This was mentioned a few pages back but I would also like a game mode where each player only gets 1 life. It would definitely cut down on the rambo wannabees and the people who generally just refuse to work as a team/squad.

ohh ohh...built in voip and the ability for squad leaders to communicate not only with their team, but with other squad leaders to coordinate attacks...please and thank you.

Totally didn't mean to quote my own post lol

Built in voip can be a nuissance. On MOHW i switched it off after the first 4 rounds that I had to deal with a Russian guy singing,a Norwegian couple chit chatting throughout a fight, persisten tea cup and plate sounds as well as some background tv programme in German.

In BF2 it was pretty nice to have when organizing squads...

I'll keep my fingers crossed, but after the disappointment that Battlefield 3 was, we'll see.

The one thing that keeps me remotely optimistic is the fact that next-gen consoles will not be the incredibly limiting factor that current gen consoles played in BF3.

I won't rehash where BF3 went wrong, yet again, but I am eager to see what BF4 ends up being like.

Rose-tinted, BF2 glasses aside, BF3 Karkand maps were quite fun with competent teams fighting each other. Premium did nothing but fragment the playerbase though.

I know.It is also nice WHEN it works in Planetside 2. But I prefer to rely on friends and ventrilo/teamspeak, personally.
