ACPI settings when overclocking. What to set C1E EIST C1 C3 C6 ...

So I was reading about OC'ing a 3570K and came across someone who said to disable C1 C3 C6 while OC'ing. But it seems they must be enabled to OC because they must be enabled to TurboBoost to work.

Intel on C3/C6 and Turbo Boost:

Original Forum where I found info about the power states and how they link to turbo boost:
http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?93081-C1-C3-C6-State-Support-Disabled-in-BIOS-Ultra-SSD-Performance

So, what should the report states be set to? Obviously I want TurboBoost working so some of them need to be enabled, should others still be disabled to try to keep stability so power is not reduced when idle (depends when computer sleeps and turns off)?

Also there is the thing about EIST vs C1E: (from a forum somewhere)
"C1E is power saving (Speedstep) handled directly by the CPU itself.
EIST is the same as C1E, except it's handled by the operating system instead of the CPU.
If you enable C1E and set windows 7 to max performance, it will still downclock to 1600 mhz, because the cpu/motherboard is handling the power saving.
If you enable EIST and set windows to max performance, it will act the same as if EIST was disabled (not downclock). "

Should I set EIST or C1E?

Won't make a huge difference either way. Leave eist on. If you disable c states and set windows power mode to max performance/min power saving it will keep your CPU from throttling while idle.
