P.S. HyperX? Get it- X is 10 in Roman numerals (10 year warranty)!
Lol, I'm kidding, I know Kingston has been using that branding forever, but it's ironic.
Two more things:
1. Love the Excel parts mapping idea- I've written down links and price of all the parts I'm using for my upcoming build on GDrive but I was too stupid to use a chart, haha.
2. You should consider using silver tubing, could look nice with your color scheme.
I PMd a guy a copy of my excel econ sheet. I can send you one if you want it. It has helped me map out my parts acquisitions for sure. At the verrrry beginning, I had dates that were the earliest I'd allow myself to buy new things as I went along, but I couldn't wait
The green PCB doesn't bother me too much. I doubt it will be very visible. I am using Kingston because I trust them to make consistent brushed metal parts. I wanted the metals in the case to look similar to each other, and trying to bank on, say, Mushkin's silverline series was a risk I wasn't willing to take.
I considered silver tubing, actually. But none of it is matte. I might get some of this titanium colored MDPC sleeving in SATA size later to cover up my tubes. I dig the matte black for now, though. I want the metallic colorations to almost be an afterthought.
