Yeah! Thanks. I like the colors so far. I can't wait to get my GPU sleeves done right.

Also, I just realized how unstraight the stitching looks after the 24 pin cables are installed (and curved). Yikes

Also also, I just had an epic idea on how to sleeve those GPU cables.

I am curious on one thing..

The Z77 Extreme 4-M isn't the greatest in OC'ing. IT's a 4+2 power phase design. I'm curious on what kind of clocks you're getting with it under water? Because I imagine the board itself might limit it. Unless you're not actually planning to OC greatly and more did it for the style/fun/silence =D.

This. I'm no veteran overclocker, and hardly push my computer ever in any sense of the word. I have found myself becoming more of an aesthetic builder the longer I work on this project. Silence is tough to come by with the TJ08, but I'm working on it, and that also is a point of interest for me thumb.gif

I haven't run any benchmarks (was waiting on the 660 to come in), but last I checked it was stable at 4.6Ghz while staying within 10 degrees F of ambient (83 on the chip, 73 or 4 in my apartment). For whatever that's worth. When I get some days off in the future, and my GPU cables are done (again, aesthetics seem to be taking priority for me ha), I plan on running some tests and will post results smile.gif

Fair enough! 4.6 on that? Damn. Nice job. It's a very good OC lol. Makes me think when I go ITX all the 4 phase boards that I've been avoiding that I could possibly just work with it... Granted I'll be using far less in the way of cooling and trying to push a haswell i7... But gives me hope the EVGA Stinger Z87 is plenty enough (6 standard phases, 1 for memory I think), for my purpose.. Meaning I won't need to wait/pay the extra for the Asus Impact ITX lol.

Silence is very very achievable for the TJ08-E methinks. The loudest thing honestly is going to be HDD's (non factor for your build) and the front AP 181 lol. My HDD is anti-vibration mounting in a 5.25 bay and my AP 181 is lower than its standard. I was thinking about foam but not too fussed. If anything I'd consider it just to make the side panels more Rigid; as, let's be honest, the side panels/general steel for the TJ08-E isn't all THAT great. The panels have squat on my old Antec P180 Mini lol. (Granted they have a triple layer underneath but hey..)

Your build is VERY clean and very nicely coloured. I'd like to see the back lot of cables just out of curiosity. XD.

Yeah, the front fan is far and away the loudest part of this computer. I have it down to the lowest setting on my motherboard, and the switch is down, so unless I add some inline resistors or a fan controller, I doubt it'll get any more quiet. For now, though, it's not audible when the AC is on, or when the refrigerator in the next room is running. So I'm happy.

Yeah, I will take a pic of my back panel once I get the GPU cables done and routed right. Sure thing thumb.gif

I am still trying to figure out how to sleeve my gpu wires as well, when the 6-pin is wired into the 8-pin. I can probably do it with shrink but that is not desirable. I am using both plugs for my gtx 580 so I can't do this, but you could pull the 2 wires that aren't shared with the 6-pin and wire everything else to the 6-pin only. I can't wait to see the results!
