Have the AMD 7950 drivers been improved for Windows 8?

So I am upgrading my PC and will be reinstalling an OS. Not sure whether I will go Windows 7 or 8.

But, from what I have read, AMD has some latency issues with their drivers, and it made me wonder if their drivers have been optimized or updated recently for Windows 8.

Does anyone know?

AMD was having some issues with some games and frames hitting a rendering spike, this has been addressed and the most recent drivers helps it a lot. They have also stated that they are looking at this and will continue to optimize this with each release.

I haven't had any problems playing games on windows 8. The new 13.2 beta drivers do have some latency issues that have been looked at, not sure if for windows 8 specifically though:
