moreover, it is a not so known fact that WW barely touched Red Alert 2 when it was made (only supervised a little) and some might argue with me but C&C3 and RA3 where made with only the slight fraction of WW that left and it proves that while WW started the idea and spirit (and perfected it), devs at EA are capable to make epicness at a similar stature to the oldies. (e.g. Victory Games under Bioware)

Don't get me wrong, i love WW (especially how they saved Generals by developing the Expansion pack) but you needto wake up from the past and realize the present and future.

overall, if this doesn't turn well (and i hope not) we still have EoN.

IT looks great, but I have and will never play C&C online, so unless there's a skrimish mode I'm bust.

Frostbite for EVERYTHING!! I'm actually curious how well it would hold up for a Fallout 3/NV style game. Whether it can be streamed in well. It would definitely suffice for a STALKER type game since the maps are gated chunks. And now I am envisioning a Fallout world with dune buggies. Thanks so much brain. mad.gif

You missed out on some great fun then tbh.

I also used to love going to gamereplays and downloading the 1v1's on Tournament Desert to watch in my game,I really hope that feature comes back.

Speaking of Gamereplays,anyone remember this:

Gonna have to go find my cd's for this and re-install.....AGAIN,wish I could remember my login details:mad:

I would play C&C just for the crazy, campy, pandering cutscenes. thumb.gif

I really liked zero hour. I still play it from time to time even after 10 years. I hope they dont disappoint on this release.

You mean this game isn't made by Westwood Studios anymore? tongue.gif

The last EA game I got was BC2. Will probably be the last. There are so many game alternatives to play out there that satisfy my needs.

Victory games (which are under bioware which are owned by EA) announced that at launch the game would be multiplayer and skirmish. they'll add single player campaign later. (it would be under the service named "Command and Conquer" and within it Generals 2 would be available. i guess it's to make it easier/simpler for them to make future games and Origin bigger maybe)

you're kidding? i have watched all of battlecast primetime and countless YT videos of matches in everything from RA2 to RA3.
Heck, I've recently just re-watched all of BattleCast PrimeTime purely because of it's awesomeness.

Funny vid. first have of it is playing a song in Hebrew (Jerusalem of gold)

Zero Hour is one of the best and a little underrated C&C (stopped being underrated after uprising and Especially "C&C"4)

Funny fact: While the Westwood division of EA never developed C&C Generals they have actually developed the Expansion pack (in under 9 months) which is obviously noticeable considering the many improvements they've introduced.

current C&C games seem not playable ... I mean I loved original C&C back in the day and even the sequel was great (haven't finished it however), the first Red Alert was also great - loved the game ... recently got my hands on latest Red Alert 3 and I was shocked how bad this game was, so silly story, terrible plastic graphics, what a disappointment ... got also C&C4, but scared to play it if it may look and feel as bad as RA3 does ...

Well thats a coincidence C&C (the original) and RA1 where the best in the series
So give me back Westwood thumb.gif

But i guess opinions will differ on this.
