Second Monitor Not Recognized

Hi All, Thanks in advance for your assistance and consideration.

Bought me a Radeon R7750 Core Edition (Crossfire Ready) card Saturday along with a new LG 21.5" monitor along with my 16" dell.
So to the problem. I have tried two different ways 1) being I had both on the VGA Adapter outlet going to a splitter running to both monitors on new cables. Issue is it would recognize both as 1 monitor instead of two separate ones. I want it like if you plugged a monitor on the side of a Toshiba laptop like I have which you can make each two separate screens. Even the Win + P wouldnt separate them. So then I did 2) I hooked up my LG to the bottum DVI slot and used the adapter to hook up my other monitor via VGA cable. Issue here is The VGA one would work and the other would turn on and everything but would not display the screen and go into away mode and still would not be detected. I also tried switching the monitor plugs up to see if it made a difference with no luck.

My attempts of fixing below:
I updated all my drivers, scanned for hardware changes, uninstalled the driver rebooted, Downloaded driver from AMD directly, Bought new cables, and checked my bios to make sure it wasnt set on the onboard card. No Luck.

Please Assist and thanks in advance I will be happy to give more info.
Heres the basics to more info below

Windows 7 (64 Bit) Home Premium
AMD Motherboard
I6 Processor
and yes I do have catalyst installed completely.

use DVI or HDMI for your monitors from your computer. use VGA or HDMI from your laptop into a monitor with multiple inputs. Then use the switches on the front of the monitor to switch its inputs to the laptop as and when you want to.

that's the most bizarre way I've heard of trying to run multiple monitors!

Use the separate inputs on the monitor, don't try splitting cables... it's not going to work well (if at all)

I'm going to tentatively blame your adapter. Modern GPUs aren't meant for split VGA outputs, or outputs from passive splitters, even if you only have one monitor connected.

Get a real adapter to go to DVI or HDMI or something,
