Overclocking a 7600GT Std Edition?

Thread Starter
is it possible to overclock an 7600GT std edition by XFX? and how does the 128bit version rate against the 256bit? is it such a big issue if i cannot afford the 256bit version?

how do i get info on overclocking without damaging the card?

The 128bit is very decent. Nice card.

As for OCing....what overclocking info? There isn't info about it. Your max clocks is from OCing and finding whats stable and not. You won't kill your card unless you expect a 500Mhz core OC.

Haven't seen a 256bit version. Probably expensive if there is one, so you should just go for a X1900GT thats ~$160 USD.

The Memory on the cards will only affect you when it comes to Resolutions..Wih 128 you may find it harder to run at higher resolutions.
