help with building a crossfire build

Thread Starter
im new to this site and. I recently have grown and interest in building a gaming pc. i want some help in choosing the components. right now my budget is tight and i want to build a gaming pc with a processor with built in graphics or a cheap GPU so i can play at least tf2 and i plan to later add 2 graphics cards for more intense games my budget now is$ 650 but i will add $400 to$ 500 in 2 months for the graphics cards so far the only card i can think of is the a10 5800k but i don't know if it is going to be a good processor for a GPU. i hope the experienced rig builders can help me i can also raise my $650 budget within reason i don't know if im asking for the impossible so please be nice .biggrin.gif

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/G482 - With A8-5600K.Would shoot your budget by ~$30.

if you have a budget for $650 + (after 2 mth) $500, then go with this for time being http://pcpartpicker.com/p/G4dS

then add a ~$200.00 graphic card

The 5800K has the 7660 iGPU (which is a 6670). Add a 6670 GPU, CF it with the iGPU & you'll have the performance similar to the 7770 (which is not bad at all).

So, on with the build:

AMD A5800K for 129$
ASUS A85X (Hudson D4) mobo for 114$
G.SKILL Ares 8GB 1866 CAS9 for 54$
Asus 6670 GDDR5 for 79$
Rosewill Capstone 450M for 65$ (It's a high-quality PSU which can easily handle any high-end GPU that you'll buy in the future).
Sammy 830 64GB SSD for 79$ (As a boot drive)
WD Blue 1TB for 84$ (Apps & games)

Less than 600$ total.

This build is a good option although you would need as case smile.gif

Just to give you another option:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/G5gQ

comes to $675 with rebates, when you have the extra money buy an SSD and if need be add another 7870 (doubt you would need it)

OP wanted a chip that has a decent enough iGPU to use for a few months.....best one around is the 5800K. For such a need, it's a great chip thumb.gif
