Can i use this thermal pad in between the MSI 560Ti stock VRM heatsink

Hello! I wanted to know if it was possible to use this "mosfet" thermal pad but i think i was going to get some scissors and cut them so they would fit snugly in between the stock VRM heatsink and the modules themselves ? The cards are still in my case and i havent had the time to open the case up to look at my cards since im kind of busy tonight. I think theyre attached right on top of modules themslves? the heatsinks look screwed onto the PCB so maybe i was thinking if they didnt adhere that well, screwing them on tightly to the pcb would make good enough contact?

In this picture, the two cards have two different color/design aluminum heatsink on top of the VRMS (for reasons i do not know... apparently i think i bought an OC card (880mhz) two black fridays ago, and a non OC card (820mhz) -- without knowing unfortunately. So maybe thats why they are different heatsinks? (one has more fins than the other i think).

I have 80mm Noctua fans right under them (not shown), but i really just want my VRM's to be as cold as i can get them when im pushing 1.1v+ on my 560ti's. This picture is also old, i have low profile copper heatsinks on the memory modules (not shown)

Thanks in advance for help! biggrin.gif
