Need help with TCP/IP (DOD) model

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of writing a 500 word paper on how to use the TCP/IP model (the 4 layers) step by step to troubleshoot a problem. I have tried all afternoon to find a good example of this to no avail. Please throw me a bone.

Thanks!

I'm not quire sure what you mean. Why do you try to explain basic http (web protocol) as an example of how TCP/IP works. If needed, use wikipedia as a reference. It is a good resource for such things.

Edit: Lol. Didn't realize your post is 4 weeks old.
