I5-2500k OC problems

Thread Starter
I have OC'd my I5-2500k to 4.7 with a voltage of 1.375 and have tested it on prime95 for 12 hours fine with max temps of 60. However some time when i start my pc up it starts up then resets itself then hangs on the loading windows screen. I then rest it and start it again and it works fine and i cant understand why. Im guessing its something to do with the settings in the BIOS but i dont know which and seeing this is my first OC i dont have a clue haha my mobo is a ASUS P8P67 EVO. It only does this certain times aswell its not all the time so im confused at to why its only sometimes. Any help would be greatful and if you need any more info feel free to ask me.

Cheers

Which BIOS version? I know the early BIOSes for the Asus P67 boards had some problems, so you might want to flash a new BIOS if you haven't already.
