http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202024 Tahiti LE 7870 and its in stock.

Not to mention you get crysis 3 and bioshock with the card.

Not really. Tahiti le over clocks bad due to locked voltages. There isn't a 7870xt on the board that can touch my hawk

I actually hit 1400 core with chilled reference 7970s today. I was actually surprised because they were only at 15c.

I picked up a Sapphire 7870 XT. Considering it's less than Sapphire's OC 7870 and can overclock to close to 7950 performance, it's a price/performance steal

Hawks are also only 20 less than that 7950 I posted. The overclocked 7950 will handle the hawk. The hawk is a great card and one of if not the best 7870 out but the price is steep for what you get in that range I think. Not to mention you get 3gb of vram on the 7950.

The extra gig is just a bonus. The extra processing power is where you get what you pay for. The 7870 clocked around 1200-1300 approachs STOCK 7950 performance. Still loses out in most areas but does win in a few. However once overclocked the 7950 pulls ahead by a fair margin. Theres a few reviews floating around on here Ill try and find to show this. Guru3d did one and I think hardware secrets the other I saw but Ill have to find them first.

I'd go with the Hawk if possible. If not, Gigabyte.

Stock 7950? More like 7970+ wink.gif

Dont get me wrong. I like the 7950 but i enjoy overclocking fun could never settle for a card that wont do 1300 core like the majority of 7950's. Hawk easily does that on air
