Yes. However I only need 2 titans to reach the performance of 3 other cards (maybe even 4), which means less problems and smoother gameplay. Also, 3 titans would be less problems than 4 other non titan cards. I realize that the more cards means more problems for all cards, however titan can do more with fewer cards. Like you said, 4 cards setups do not scale well, but a 3 card titan would scale decent, and mop up on other 4 card set ups. If you look in the Titan owerns thread many are experience much better and smoother gameplay with 1 titan than they were with 2 OC's 680's, even if it means dropping a few fps.

I got some fans today and some of my bitfenix sleeved cables today. I am unsure of the fans for a couple of different reasons. First what do you think of the red/grey fans with the rest of the build. Part of me likes it, and part of me doesnt. the other option is to use the xilence red wing fans but they only come in 120mm (pictured below). Also, with the rubber mounts on the fan, the screws do not torgue the fans down completely tight. They are tight enough to hold them in place without problems, but I expected them to be tighter. I also found out that the 140mm fans would not fit side by side on the bottom, and I cant do 3 at the top. Instead I needed to do 2 120mm at the bottom (pictures), and I will need to do all 120mm fans at the top. I was not worried about the top as they needed to be 120's for the rad anyway. Let me know your thoughts on the fan colors.

And here is the Xilence Red Wing fan

I don't think they match very well, then again I'm not really a fan of red fans anyway.

Nooooo! That grey is bad! Red is fine. Try painting one black or .... or... NO. Just black. Tape or mask the red and spray black paint all over that untill you feel good smile.gif

I would not worry about 140. 120 is fine and offers a much wider selection of fans. Find TaterTots fan thread if you have more fan questions.

I ordered a couple of the red wing fans last week to see what they would look like, so they should be here any day. I will try them out and see how they look. In person the red actually looks good, its the gray that doesnt look right.

Are PWM fans really worth it, should i just buy some of the red/black corsair fans and call it a day. I could use the red wing pwm fans on the h220, and the corsair fans in the rest of the case. couldn't I then just control the case fans via the bios, and the red wings via pwm? Thanks for any help.

Yes that should be fine, personally I like the Corsair SP/ AF series, and if you use the red rings that come with the fans I think they would look very nice with your build. smile.gif

Not knowing much about fans, I was under the impression that pwm's could be controlled easily, and non pwm's would just run 100% all the time (well I know they wouldn't but i figured they would be much harder ton control). After doing some research it seems they can be controlled via the mobo. I just want to make the fans as quiet and efficent as possible while controlling temps.

Do you know if the Cirsair 140mm, use a 120mm mounting hole or a 140mm. The xilence fans threw me off because they all used 120 mounting holes, and with the odd shape of the 140's I couldn't fit them where they needed to go. As you can see by the pics above I had to use 120's on the bottom even though I wanted to use 140's.
