AMD Fx-8350 high temps?

ok so I have been checking this on and off, playing rift and running adobe flash media live encoder im pushing about 48 degree celsius on the cpu. This seems quite high no? Im running an h100i and thats unusually high

Thats nothing. My cpu runs at 72 degrees 24/7 so that is totally fine. Anything under 80 is good obviously lower the better but thats what it should be for an 8350 @ stock.

72 seems awfully hot for the speed you are running, how much core voltage are you pushing and what are you using to measure your temps?

It's actually at 5.1 w/ 1.46v right now running folding at home and I'm in Linux so I'm using conky to monitor temps

are you sure it seems quite high, i just want to make sure im not at risk of ruining it with an OC of 4.6

EDIT:
Ambient Temp is 33 and CPU Temp is 49 Celsius, and max temp is 58

Max temp on a FX 8350 is 61c.

You should verify what temperature you are looking at.
There is:
Socket Temp
Core/Package Temp

The Core/Package Temp is the one you should be watching.
