7970 CF Crashes with Origin and Steam

Need some serious help.

I have been having crazy freezes everytime I lanuch BF3 (Premium with all DLC pack)

The screen freeze just right at the showing the "Joining Games" message and I have to force restart with the reset button.

It is about 90% of the time it does this and yes, I have reset my CPU and GPU back to stock and still does the same.

I tried 13.1, 13.2b3/b5, all does the same thing. and ULPS disabled.

Tried to lanuch Sleeping Dogs from Steam, freezes just right before the game pops out from a new windows, but works about 50% of the time.

With AB and Task Manager monitoring, I can see the CPU and GPU is not stressed before everything freeze. Driver? or Origin/Steam? or maybe the beta F8j BIOS for the Sniper 3 ?

Tried repair the install and even tried Prime 95 and IBT to make sure the system is stable. I really hate these origin/steam plateform, it seems to make things alot complicated.

It is Afterburner that is doing this. Trust me I went through the same frustrations. If you have the AB OSD (On-screen display) turn that off and you should be fine. If that doesn't help you just aren't going to be able to run Afterburner. Hope this helped! It really does suck not being able to use the OSD.

I believe the OSD is part of the AB? How do I disable it? or does that mean I have to uninstall AB all together?

Thanks!
