everything maxed. Getting excellent GPU usage, running it at 1189mhz/6350mhz. Most VRAM allocation I've seen since getting this 780. Maxed out around 2600MBs. Helluva load on the CPU too. Might actually have to load an overclocked profile for the first time in a while.
Looks at your specs.
45fps != runs great.
The game doesnt look visually impressive, it does look rather mediocre at times, especially beyond 50m.
But afterall, you are in singleplayer, so expect lower in Mp, much so.
Well I knew it was going to be hard on rigs, so my expectations weren't high. I won't claim to know whether or not that's because it's not as optimized as Bohemia claims it is. But what I meant by "runs well" is that I get all the usage I should be getting; as in, the game technically is
running the way it should be. Load on all 6 CPU cores (though not an even one, unfortunately), and full GPU usage most of the time. I would assume framerates will be better in the final version of the game, so my running-right comment didn't refer to exceptionally high framerates.
Oh and I forgot to mention that Sampling was on 120%, not the default 100%. But even if it did cut my fps a bit, I know it wouldn't net me game-changing framerates if left at 100%.
Anyways, yeah, won't be taking a stab at multiplayer for a while, ha. Still desperately trying to find my bearings in the practice runs. DayZ is all of the experience I have with Arma, but I decided to get into it with the release of Arma 3. Once I get the hang of the much-different learning curve than most shooters I'm used to, and finally memorize most of the keys, I think it'll be a lot more fun. I do like sims, but seldom have the time to become good at 'em. I'm determined to master this game though, whether or not it takes me the rest of the year!
