Look at the rating for each Rail, it's 12V but total amperage is only 29A, look closely at the pic, +12V1 + V2 = 350W
, which means 350/12 = 29A......not 40, if it were 40A then the total watts would be 480W.
; I don't think you should shell out $220 for a new PSU, you have a decent PSU already so the best thing would be to spend $50 on the Thermaltake 250W Dedicated Video Card Power Supply.
Save the extra $170 for something else.
I only went for this Silencer 750W PSU because it's a build from the ground up and I originally thought that I was going to reuse my OCZ PowerStream along with a TT Dedicated VC PSU but I decided to put my OCZ in the 2nd rig because it's running a dual core CPU.
