is two air intakes (one over each of the processors) really a good reason for calling it "extreme"?

If anything it's worse, 2x92mm fans or whatever that is would be louder and just as many CFM, maybe even less, than 1x250mm. I think it's a joke, probably costs seven times as much just like the Xoxide Zalman-Fatal1ty Case.

Unless, of course, you do have Two CPUs.

well i like the idea but 2 CPU's is server dedicated right ? and extreme ? hell no the LCS is even more extreme then this version
post #5 of 8
2 small fans added to the side panel vs. 1 big fan is probably more noise.
If the depth of those fans' tunnels is designed for the stock amd heatsink and cpu fan then it would create even more noise.

This is for the 4x4 platform, if anyone didn't know. It has two CPUs and I guess needs a brand spanking new door on the armor to work.

Maybe this is whats going to start happening with cases with this quad core AMD setup for a while as we cant exactly use two TTBT's on there. But instead the case manufactures will add side fans like this. I like the idea and nice they decided to do it first (as far as I know which isnt much).

Maybe remove them and put two FM91's with fan controllers and watch the temps drop...
