highend. like you said, 1 670 is = to 2 6950. op, has the option of going for sli or xfire if he deems not enough but at least there is that cpu to support it.

And there should be no problem with a decent sli/xfire setup. My cpu maxes out my gpus in every game that I have played, the only issue I have run into is with the valley benchmark, where it sucks, but that is a completely different subject altogether. If the OP goes with SLI 670s, they will be in for a graphical overhaul that is amazing, same with xfire 7970s or even 7950s. I think the op should bite the bullet and upgrade to 2 new gpus, just my lowly opinion. They will run everything very nicely for quite awhile.

i know. you have 2 6950, which is about equal to 1 670/7950. now, with 2 670 it is like having 4 6950.

I would pick up two 7950's or 7970's. The 7970's are going to cost the same as the 670's and with a very simple and easy overclock they will just smash the 670's on performance. Otherwise you could save $200.00 and pick up two 7950's and just overclock those to beat the 670's. Right now AMD is in a pretty good place. I had a 680 in my Raven rig and it was real great, but couldn't overclock much. I moved to Tri 7970's in my ST10 build and they happily took a big overclock. Drivers have been great so no complaints there.

One thing I just remembered, the 7970's are long, like 11.5 inches I think. Just make sure you have room for a card that length, but I am pretty sure you do. Just may needa clean them wires up a bit tongue.gif

Edit: Someone on page 1 said your case could support 12.4 inches, so as long as that is correct your good to go!
