You're saying that 5c is worth double the price? The Evo performs extremely well for the price, most users won't even push it at its capacity. Why do you want him to buy a $60 cooler when there's only 5 degrees difference with a $30 cooler?

I guess its easy when its not your money.

Better performance, way better build quality, way better mounting, two 140mm fans... it's just a better all around product. To some it's worth the price, to some it's obviously not. smile.gif

you could also get a Thermalright True Spirit 120 for the same price as the Evo:

but personally i'd say the TS140 is worth the 10$ more, for the better and quiter 140mm TY-140 fan alone.

i am of the performance Matters, Sound does not.

I use headphones anyway thumb.gif


Edit: I obviously wouldnt want something to be as loud as a turbine engine.

but I dont mind when my GTX 275 is at 70-80% Fan speed.
