Frenetic Jr.

Thread Starter

This mouse has been on the Team Scorpion website for a while, but is only recently starting to appear on Taobao...which means that it won't be that much longer before we start to see it on eBay.

Size listed as 127MM*73MM*38MM; weight 100g. Sensor is Avago 3090.

If this mouse turns out to be a proper palm-grip equivalent to my Zealot Jr., it should be quite good indeed.

Seems really easy to break but it maybe a good mouse. Also it looks sick.

With all this new brands I just think they implement all default of avago nothing custom to improve the tracking of the mouse.

*shrug* The Zealot Jr. (the fingertip-grip equivalent to this one, and my current mouse) seems to be holding up fine so far, though I don't want to draw any conclusions about durability until I've had it for a few years (or it dies). It feels solid, though. If the Frenetic Jr. is built the same way, I'd anticipate toughness being a positive rather than a negative-- of course, only real testing can determine that for sure.

Well, they've got to have achieved the 400dpi step somehow, eh? This revision of the 3090 has its default steps at 800/1600/3200/4000. So it can't be completely standard...

That said, if you're starting with a good sensor like a 3090 with the 4000dpi firmware upgrade, why mess with it? There's a lot more to lose than to gain; it's much easier to make things worse than better, especially when your starting point is already a better sensor than in the vast majority of gaming mice. I just hope they haven't done something bad to it with the 400dpi step, or made a silly decision like using the firmware version with heavy angle snapping.

Has anyone actually bought and tested one of these?
The left top side doesn't look good for the grip, the angle is too big imo
