I think the sensor spazzed out a bit during faster movements but I might have to check because I really cannot remember. rolleyes.gif

well, I googled Avior 7000 + Raiden and this is what I got:

so, yes. can you talk more about it? do you still have the Avior?

I still have + the Raiden.
I remember now too but will confirm my previous testing tomorrow.

cool. do you still use the Raiden, by the way?
I actually sent you a PM but maybe could have asked here instead - what mice have you found work great with minimal jitter and whatnot?
really would like a mouse that just *works* for once... redface.gif

I also noticed this - would you mind testing 1150 dpi setting and such with it?
because the FK is one if my favourite mice. not sure how I missed this despite reading most of this thread.
it is a bit strange because my Kana v2 has the same sensor and did not work at all, but I'd love to hear more about this.

thanks! smile.gif

Did anyone actually get back on this? I'm interested on knowing the tracking on the Raiden for the Mionix Avior/Naos. The glide just looks amazing and it would be great knowing the compatibility.

Bumping this thread with no survivors.

Just got Coffee Brown Raiden Mid and my G900 is tracking awesomely on it and it feels great and I find it superior to my now worn out shidens when they were new... until I get spinouts.

I've seen some people say they have no problem with 3366/3360 sensor mice but now I'm starting to think that they probably don't test rapid long movements that much and have a general way of usage that don't trip up and result in spinouts.

I consistently get spinouts within 20 seconds when doing a fast long back and forth motion test. In normal usage in FPS games, I experience around 1 spinout per 3 minutes.

Currently considering whether to get a new mouse. I don't fully trust artisan's compatibility list.

Artisan's compatibility list is ancient and not really correct either. Some mice which supposedly were incompatible with my zero, worked without issue.

I have a xsoft raiden mid size and the following mice:

G9x
G400
G400s
M750
Roccat EMP (3360)
Deathadder 3.5G
Zowie AM
Zowie EC2 (3090)
Genius Maurus
IE 3.0
WMO

and some others, as I never sell the things I buy after I'm done with them.

Which ones do you want me to test it with.

Also, I have a artisan black shidenkai. And it's been good for the past 3 or 4 months, it looks and feels as new.

Thank you very much for offering to test.

In order of interest:

I am interested in knowing if there are spinouts with either of the zowie mice with super rapid back and forth and rapid back and forth with small circles or halfcircles mixed in (they are both 3090 so 1 of them should suffice).

I'm also curious about if either the WMO or IE 3.0 are spinoutless. I imagine if one them are, the other one is.

If any of the laser mice spin out too, that would be interesting information to have.

Thank you in advance if you want to test any of these.

Edit: I suppose testing Roccat EMP (3360) to get a feel for how the spinout is triggered before testing the others can be good to be sure one is doing the right movements.

I tested my wife's Roccat Kova (Pro-Optic R6 Sensor) today and just like my G900 and G502, it had spinouts at 400 DPI all the way to 2000 DPI and beyond on my Raiden mid (mid as in softness level, though I assume xsoft will have the exact same surface fabric, making them identical for spinout failure potential).

I'm wondering if there's any honestly decent laser mice I could get just so I can have a Raiden...

hehe

I'm the best aimer there is. And my go-to mouse to rekt nerds is the g9x.

It works without issues on a Raiden.

The EMP, Zowie AM, Deathadder 3.5G, Genius Maurus and G400 also work 'ok' with it.

The AM has some troubles with it tho. It jumps randomly from time to time; the g400 as well. The deathadder has low malfunction speed, but if you use high sens, then you'd be good.

The Genius Maurus, EMP and G9x work without issues on it.
