You need only one cf bridge. Not two

This^

Does your mobo maybe need a bios update?

Try not to get discouraged, this could happen to anyone (usually doesn't, but could).

Oh really? It only needs one? Should I put it on the side closer to the back of the case or the one towards the front of the case? Also, there are BIOS updates for my MOBO, but I have been trying to avoid that. Do you think my doing a double crossfire bridge could be why this is happening? Maybe????? Hopefully??????

Thanks for that. I really needed someone to tell me something like that. I cant even think straight, but you saying that did give me a little more motivation.

If one of the cf bridge is bad then your cf will not work. It doesnt matter where will you put it. Also always do bios updates.

Thanks for that.

Not a problem, hopefully the bios update or running a single bridge will work. Monday I should be getting my second 7950, hopefully everything works fine but if not I may need your help.

Only use one Crossfire bridge and you can put them on either connector of the cards. Also how did either of your cards run when you put a single card on the lower PCI-e slot and tried to run it alone? It may be that you have a faulty PCI-e slot or your motherboard BIOS needs updating.

The card ran completely fine on the x8 slot

Just tried one bridge and it didnt work. Tried both bridges on both connectors. No luck. Still getting around 60fps in valley (the first scene). Looks like my last and only resort is a MOBO UEFI update. Pray for me.

Hmm, then it doesn't sound like the slot is bad. Have updated you motherboard BIOS to the latest version? And did you try both cards in that slot separately?
