i just saw this on the nvidia site and i was thinking to myself

why would you want to buy 2 amd fx and 4 gfx cards.....

sounds like a waste of money to me buy im sure some people will..

anyone else's thoughts on this?

btw it seems to me like they're only bringing out the 680a with 4x4 and no other one below it anyone else see anything i didn't?

Two FX's will be sold together I believe and marketed against Intel's Quad core's. The price is reasonable and core for core should match Intel's pricing but the quad cores still outperform the 2x dual cores. The upside is it'll most likely take 2 quad cores whenever AMD gets to producing them.

Edit I'm pretty sure the 4x4 isn't socket AM2.
